Copper vs. Aluminum path lights

how much longer to the black metal path lights hold up versus the copper? should i spend the money on the copper?

It really depends on where you are located and the conditions.  If you are in a coastal area the copper fixtures are by far the best choice for you.  They will give you 5-6 years of trouble free enjoyment.  The aluminum painted units with show sign of deterioration must faster.  If you have the money, the copper fixutures are a better buy in the long run!
