You answered the question below sent in by someone else. In the answer you said to use 8-10 hologen fixtures. What size lights would you recommend? Also, I am considering mounting them on top of the steel cage poles (2 3/8 inch, 12 feet high). The netting hangs just below the top. I could extend the poles higher if necessary. How does this sound to you? Thanks.Batting Cage lighting Question: need lights for outside batting cage 14 x 70 what kind and how many thanks Answer: If you want to keep the cost down, I would suggest you use eight to ten Halogen Fixtures mounted outside the cage structure for floodlight the area. If you want to upgrade, I would suggest you consider an HID option like four to six Metal Halide Fixtures. We have both in stock!

I would use the 500 WATT HALOGEN FLOOD LIGHT FIXTURES if you are using 120 volt power.  You will need a JUNCTION BOX and COVER PLATE for each light.
