Is there a safe adapter to allow compact flourescents to replace flood light bulbs in track lighting. The ones I have see say "for phenolic sockets only" or "for porcelain sockets only" Thanks for your help

Why not install a REFLECTOR STYLE FLUORESCENT LAMP in your track fixtures?  We have many RETROFIT FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULBS to choose from.
