If something happens to the battery in a solar led street light, or if the power levels significantly fall below acceptable operating levels, a signal is send via the Internet to maintenance personnel on duty. This gives immediate notice to dispatchers so they can then send repair crews on site to correct the problem. LED solar street lights are thus far more reliable and safer than traditional street lights that can fail without anyone knowing it and create dangerous areas of darkness along the road that present a safety hazard to pedestrians and motorists.
