I would like to illuminate my outdoor horse arena that is 100' x 150' in size. What arena lights and how many arena lighting fixtures would you recommend? We already have a telephone pole on one end of the arena, if that helps?
How many lights you need depends on your lighting requirements.
I would recommend that you will need as a bare minimum, a double arena lighting kit on each end of the arena. If you are starting from scratch, I would suggest two poles per side with two light fixtures on each 30' pole for a total of eight lighting fixtures.

I have a Malibu ML88T, it now seems to stick at the trip point. Is it possible to open up and lubicate the unit? What do you suggest that one somewhat handy could accomplish? Thanks
It is not easy to get inside the housing, but it can be done. My guess is that the gear is slipping on the shaft causing it not to operate properly. Might be time for a new Malibu transformer!

I want to use these outdoor Christmas lights wrapped around a fence in the back yard and leave them out all winter in Michigan. Will they survive? And, if one light burns out, will the remainder stay on?
These C7 outdoor Christmas lights will do well mounted on your fence. They will give you two or three years before the UV rays cause the insulation to deteriorate if you use them 24/7.
If one light goes out, the rest will stay on and all you have to do is install a replacement C7 lamp.

I currently have a simple 2x300 watt low voltage lighting transformer. Both wiring runs are approximately 180ft each (1 on each 300watt output). I used 12/2 direct burial cable. I have plugged in a total of 130 watts of fixtures on each line. Going past this amount on eithier line causes dimming. I assume this is voltage drop. Will a multi tap and multivolt transformer like this one solve this dimming? I should be able to go closer to the 300 watt max with a higher volt tap right? does this transformer have 2x300 units or is it all one unit? Can I use both lines to say the 14 volt tap? Thanks
You are experiencing voltage drop. You can boost each home run to 14 volts may solve your problem. Be sure and check the voltage at the first light to see that you are not exceeeding 12 volts or the lamp will fail. You may need to use a 13 volt tap to balance the load and correct the voltage drop problem.
You might also try using a continuous loop wiring method to help overcome the effects of voltage drop in conjunction with your new 600 watt low voltage transformer.

Can I get a spec sheet for the 1500w sport lighter? I need to know the weight and type of bracket it comes with to mount on a steel pole. I plan on mounting these light on a 2" Schedule 40 steel pole, but I''m not sure if that will work or not. Thanks, Mike
Does not sound like a good idea to me. The 1500-watt unit is big and heavy. I would contact customer service to discuss your wind zone and what pole will correctly support this sports lighting fixture.

I would like to see a wiring diagram for this photocell control.
We do not have a formal wiring diagram to send you. However, the black wire goes to the hot wire (power supply), white wire goes to the neutral wire (power supply) and the red wire goes to the light fixture. It's pretty simple!

Can this 12 volt outdoor transformer unit be plugged into an outlet? Are there specs on this transformer to show connection point?

No, these lighting clips are made to hand on a 3/16" wire across and patio or something like that. If you want to attach lights to to a tree, use twist ties or tie-wraps.

The MR11 narrow spot lamp is a 10 degree lamp. FYI - The image in posted on the web needs updating as it shows a MR16 lamp. Did not want you to buy something by mistake.

Is this
Firex model compatible with the mounting bracket of the
FX 1218? We have the
FX 1218 through out our home.They are approximately 15-18 years old and need replacing.
Most Firex smoke detectors are compatible and each comes with a new mounting base. . Of course, every model has it's own features and a third red wire to interconnect the smoke detectors to communicate to each other in the event of an event. Have you considered adding a CO2 smoke detector option for added protection?
If it were me, I would upgrade all of your smoke detectors at the same time for peace of mind and the security of my family. Technology has changed and the sensors in your old unit are full of dusk and dirt.

I checked these fixtures and they look pretty cool. I am planing to use them for new construction. The house has a flat roof. Do these housing require attic access? If so I won't be able to use them right? Thank You
The Aziano 120 volt MR16 down lights do not rewire access from above after installation. However, since you have a flat roof, I would purchase the IC rated housing enclosures since you will be in direct contact with the insulation.
These fixtures are a great buy and they do not require a special Lutron dimmer control to operate them since they have no transformer!
