What is the best way to light my sidewalk for safe
I am interested in this light for the front walk on my house. The walk turns 90 degrees after several steps off of the driveway. Walkway about 20 ft long. Is this the correct light for me? I want it to go on just as the person moves onto the main walkway. There is a wall on the right of the walk. Also, what is the difference between a bullet flood and a bell flood for my purposes, which is to provide adeuquate lighting for saftey along the walk. Any other suggestions would be welcome. Thank youThe EXPERT recommends taking a look at the spec sheet for this product, which can be found by following this link: Specification sheet.
The motion lighting fixture you have selected will do a nice job of providing safety for your friends and family. However, light travels in a straight line and will not bend around the corner you mentioned.
I would take a more designer approach using well placed copper path lighting fixtures and a few low voltage uplights to wash the fron of the house. This will satisfy both the safety aspect of your project and look good at the same time.
We also have pre-packaged outdoor lighting kits for the do it yourselfer!
