Backyard putting greens and home putting green lighting fixtures.
I have a professionally installed putting green in my back yard that is need of lighting. We had a light in a tree that died and now we can't putt at night. What can you recommend? Not every outdoor light fixture is designed for putting greens. Some fixtures create shadows due to the position of the light and the kind of light bulb that is in the fixture. This can be distracting and annoying to the golfer as he tries to line up for the putt. Our putting green fixtures all address these issues and are approved by professional golfers.
Here at Residential Landscape Lighting & Design we offer a wide selection of line voltage and low voltage golf course and putting green lights. Most of the putting green lights fall into the low voltage category and are quite easy to layout and install. Of course, every putting green is different and we are more than happy to assist you with a lighting design tailored to your needs.
My favorite putting green lighting fixture is the 120 volt Focus Fluorescent Putting Station. This well designed light fixture provides excellent illumination without shadows because it is higher than most of our other putting green lights and yet is glare free from normal viewing angles.
The onboard drink, putter and ball holders make your putting experience a pleasure. Give us a call at 800-239-2939 or visit us online at www.rlldesign.com.
