What Are The Best Ways To Illuminate Picture & Art Lighting?

You have to have the right art lighting for every painting, because color does not exist without light. Special rooms are created to allow you to hear every nuance of good music; light provides the same for color. With insufficient or incorrect art lighting, you do not see what the artist was seeing when they painted the work in the studio.

Lighting art allows your favorite paintings to come alive with its true colors, unseen since it left the art gallery, all possible with fine art lighting. A marble statue gleams as if it is illuminated from within because there is no light spillover. Carving art lighting to fit is the best way of illuminating. From picture lights, art lighting of paintings and portraits, to unobtrusive ceiling spots to optical projectors used in homes and museums, our company stands tall as a pioneering innovator in the use of light as an applied science Click here for more information to shine up your picture & fine art collection).

Safety Issues When Installing Dimmer Switches:

Safety Issues When Installing Dimmer Switches:

Light dimmers are directly connected to mains you must make sure that no part of the circuit can be touched when it is operating. Applications for Light Dimmer Switches:

Light is everything in your home. The light level in a room affects the way we do our work, and it has a huge effect on how we feel. It is difficult for us to read under a single candle, and a romantic dinner for two isn't so romantic under a 1,500-watt halogen lamp.

The issue here is that we need to use some rooms for many different purposes, and these different functions call for varying amounts of light. This is when the light dimmer switch comes into place; a handy electrical component that lets you adjust light levels from nearly dark to fully lit by simply turning a knob or sliding a lever. How Light Dimmer Switches Work

How Light Dimmer Switches Work:

Light dimming is based on adjusting the voltage that gets to the lamp to emit only small amount of light. Light dimming has been possible for many decades by using adjustable power resistors and adjustable transformers. Electronics controlling also made possible to make them easily controllable from remote location.

Most homes have lamps or fixtures that can be made brighter or dimmer by rotating or sliding a control on their on-off switch. Years ago, this was done using a device called a rheostat--a large variable resistor. This method wasted electricity and generated a lot of heat. To control the amount of energy going to the light the rheostat had to throw a lot away, turning it into heat. For example, at half brightness a 100-watt bulb would waste about 20 watts to heat in the rheostat. Click here for the whole article on dimmer switches.

Picking The Right Tennis Court Lighting

Picking the Right Tennis Court Light and Orientation:Many factors go into selecting the right lighting system for your tennis or sport court application. Some of those factors include a uniform distribution of the light and non-glare optics. Good tennis court lighting should illuminate the entire court including approximately 6’ outside the sidelines and approximately 10’ behind the base lines. Metal Halide luminaries are the most common HID source used in tennis court lighting. Click here for more information on tennis court lighting.

Recessed Lighting

There are only a few different types of light bulbs to choose from, and each one is distinctive in terms of the amount of brightness and heat it delivers. But the lighting fixture you use is at least as important as the bulb in shaping the subjective effect the light will have on the area you are illuminating. Recessed lighting fixtures are probably one of the most significant elements of your home lighting design system. There are many different types of recessed lighting fixtures offered by our company. Your decision will depend on several factors, such as how much light you need in each room, how adjustable you want the amount of light to be, and how to best eliminate glare given the dimensions and colors of the room or area you are illuminating. more on recessed lighting
