Testing chrsistmas light strands and lamps that are not working.

I have an entire strand of icicle lights that stopped working after a wind storm. I have additional strands plugged into the bad strand on both sides and they are working. I checked the fuses and inspected and replaced all the bad bulbs I could identify. I find it confusion that the strands that come after the bad strand are still working. Any ideas?

You should invest in a lamp and wire tester designed for Christmas lights. They can help you detect cuts, bad sockets and bad lamps that may be causing the problem. I wish I had a better answer for you.

It's usually something simple!

Happy holidays!
