Motor controls and fan speed controls for small computer fans.

I wired 3 110v 120mm fans (similar to computer case fans) to a dimmer but I wired it wrong the first time, and tripped a breaker. Then wired it correctly and it turns on and off but not dimming. Is it possible to fry the potentiometer?Thanks!

Not all motors are created equal. The fans you bought will not work on a dimmer or fan speed control. They simply were not designed for that.
