Lighting for baseball batting cages, softball, fastpitch, varsity, little league and sport courts.

I have a backyard baseball batting cage, with the primary area of coverage being 70 feet long and say 20 feet wide. In my ignorance, I have purchased a 1000W metal halide light that is very reminiscent of the one your company sells. I think it is a multi-tap, but I must check. I am seeking advice first before I order a pole upon which to mount my light. Given the area of coverage, and again it is a batting cage so it must be illuminated like a stadium within the area referenced above. I have checkd the graphs you have listed, and a 1000W bulb, I am not sure which size pole will give me the illumination I need within the area in question? Thank you very much.

Hey, we all make mistakes, take it easy. Let us help you finish your project. We are here to help!

If you have a 1000 watt metal halide fixtue, you should use a use a 20' or higher pole. Before ordering a STEEL POLE or FIBERGLASS POLE check the mounting method or MOUNTING ARM required for your light. Since we did not furnish the light, we will not take the pole back if it doesn't work.

We have a good selection of SPORT COURT LIGHTING FIXTURE KITS that might better illustrate what you are trying to do.
