Commercial high bay fixtures with metal halide lamps are perfect for indoor horse arenas.

I need to light a 130' x 65' indoor horse arena. The lights will mount from the ceiling at about 20' height. I would prefer to minimize shadows as much as possible. The room has a sand floor and dust is not really a factor. The circuit I have is 220 volts.

I would suggest installing (12) 350-WATT METAL HALIDE HIGH BAY FIXTURES in two rows equally spaced down the arena. Metal halide produces a very nice white light and shadows should not be an issue if you go with these commercial grade lighting fixtures.
