Rope lighting is perfect for illuminating outdoor steps and railings.

We are in the process of having a stamped concrete patio poured with a 2.5 foot brick wall constructed around it (traditional courtyard). I would like to have our contractor install some sort of accent lighting beneath the overhang of the stone cap atop the brick wall (there will be a 1-2 inch overhang - perfect for some sort of cove or strip light. I am leaning towards a low voltage light strip that uses Xenon Festoon lamps. The problem is that I can't seem to find any that are designed of outdoor use. What do you recommend I use?

For the money, ROPE LIGHTS are the best choice for OUTDOOR STRIP LIGHTING under steps, decks or railings. Most of the strips lights we sell are not really designed for wet locations or outdoor use except the rope lights.. The 24-VOLT ROPE LIGHT can be installed up to 32 feet per power feed. The 12-VOLT ROPE LIGHT can be run up to 150 feet per run. Either way, I like the pearl white finish to minimize hot spots.
