What can you tell me about the new Lutron Qoto dimmer? Other than the unique styling, does it do something other dimmers don't?

Basically, the LUTRON QOTO DIMMER SWITCH is designed to replace a standard toggle switch. The dimmer has a few unique features:

• Elegant oval button and smooth linear-slide dimmer for a traditional wall plate opening
• Electrostatic discharge protection
• Captive button and slider
• Square law dimming
• Mechanical air-gap switch to disconnect load power
• Includes radio frequency interference suppression circuitry
• Power-failure memory

The QOTO DIMMER BY LUTRON ELECTRONICS is also available in a non dimming switch for motor loads or other lighting loads where dimming is not desired. They even have a 1000-WATT QOTO DIMMER for larger loads!
