Outdoor Lighting Kits

I am looking to install landscape lighting in my yard, but really have no idea where to start. I've heard that the lights that you purchase at Lowes or Home Depot eventually corrode and rust. I would like to see what you guys have in the way of products and installation information. Several photos of my home are online so you can have a better idea of what I am working with.
