12 volt rope lighting

I am planning to use 2 pieces of your DL-WH-12 rope lighting (8'-6" and 9'-8") and your office recommended the LV150T transformer. Can this be dimmed with a usual dimmer? If not, is there some other transformer that I can purchase that can be dimmed?
