Want to put some low voltage lighting in place but want it triggered by motion or heat instead of by timer or dusk/dawn. Does anyone make a low voltage transformer with one of these options or can you suggest solution?

The easiest way to trigger your low voltage lighting system is by using a RAB 12 volt motion detector.  This device should be remote from the transformer so that you can aim at the target.  The transformer should be hidden in the bushes out of view.

You can also install a 120 volt motion detector on the line side of the transformer if that is easier.  We also have a tuff dome motion detector unit which has two light levels for energy savings!

I hope this answers your question and we can be of service to you.  Call us at 800-239-2939 for further assistance.
